'Parents Day' is dedicated to parents all over the world. It is an important day to show appreciation towards parents for their commitment to raise a family, strengthen the bond of love, and create an atmosphere of happiness and understanding between family members.

Smt Drakshayani Kalyanshettar Public School Pre-Primary section organized the “Parents Day Celebration” on 29th August 2023 to express gratefulness towards the Parents for their unconditional love and support and to make them feel special.   The programme began with the Prayer song by the UKG students.  The colourful rainbow programmes & dances were performed by UKG, LKG & Nursery students.

The Chief Guest Mrs. Zahida Sayed addressed the gathering. Parents are gift from God, Women are blessed to be a Daughter, Mother, sister from God. Parents should be a role models to our Children. Parents are honoured as Matru Devo Bhava - Pitru Devo Bhava, Parents responsibility is to make their children a good human being.  

On this occasion, the Chairman – Shri Jagadish Kalyanshettar,  Co-ordinator Mr. Prashant Kalyanshettar,  Pre-primary HM Mrs. Veena Hiremath, Academic Counsellor Mrs. Sushma Kulkarni  and all the Staff members, Students & Parents were present.
